Do not miss the traditional Advent and Christmas Fair in the heart of Budapest on Vörösmarty Square! The internationally acknowledged Advent Fest will be organized 27 November – 31 December 2015, when candle lights and Christmas smells will lure children and adult alike to the market.

It is not only about high quality handmade crafts and goods, but also about gastronomy, cultural programs as well. More then, 120 wooden-cottage stalls offer high quality unique folk and applied-art products (selected and approved by special jury of folk art experts) such as gingerbread, handmade jewellery, leather- and pottery products. But besides the usual fair delicacies (cheese, mulled wine, sausages, kürtős kalács), you can try traditional Hungarian Christmas dishes as well.

A play-house and several programs will be on stage for the children, while the bigger ones can enjoy music performances (jazz, street music, world music) Even Santa Claus will visit the market place on 06 December for the joy of the small ones.

Opening hours: Stalls are open till 24 Dec. 10.00am – 21.00pm every day.  The gastro stalls will be open till 22pm on New Years Eve.
